Astrea’s Greengate Lane Wins Double Accolade in The Star ‘Best in Education’ 2016 Awards


Primary Academy, Greengate Lane in Sheffield, was honoured with two awards in The Star Best in Education Awards 2016 this week.  The annual awards celebrate the unsung heroes in the region’s local schools.

Greengate Lane Primary School won both Best Primary School and Best Primary Headteacher, with Wendy Wheldon recognised for her outstanding leadership of the academy.

Greengate Lane Primary School was recognised in the Star’s Best of Education Awards 2016 on Monday 3 October.
