Working together, Astrea schools tackle head on the barriers that stand in the way of children’s success. We do this through a relentless commitment to a brilliant education, a focus on inclusion for all, and by delivering on our promise of opportunities that inspire beyond measure. This commitment includes enhanced careers provision to empower students to capitalise on further study, training and employment opportunities.

We see strong relationships with the local business community as key to achieving our aims. We are committed to finding new ways of working with business partners to both meet the needs of employers while giving our students new experiences and opportunities that will help them develop the skills and personal characteristics they need in future life. It is our ambition that employers will be integral to school life, inspiring Astrea children to make aspirational and informed decisions about their pathways after leaving education.

As part of our commitment we are developing the Astrea Business Club, an exciting collaboration of business and education. In its first year, the Business Club will be focussed on activity at Astrea Academy Dearne, which has recently been awarded the nationally recognised Quality Standard in Careers.

 We warmly invite all organisations, from small businesses to large multi–nationals to signal their commitment to the workforce of tomorrow by becoming a partner of the Astrea Business Club today.
